QUESTION:

4x+27=3x

ANSWER:

4x+27=3x

Subtract 3x from both sides of the equation.

==> 4x + 27 -3x = 3x - 3x

==> 4x - 3x + 27 = 0

==> 1x + 27 = 0

Subtract 27 from both sides,

==> x + 27 - 27 = 0 - 27

==> x = -27
