A jet leaves the Charlotte, North Carolina, airport traveling at an average rate of 546km/h. Another jet leaves the airport one half hour later traveling at 744km/h in the same direction. How long will the second jet take to ovretake the first?
JET 1 TRAVELS IN HALF HOUR = 0.5*546 = 273 KM.= INITIAL DISTANCE OF SEPERATION BETWEEN THE 2 JETS.
RELATIVE SPEED = 744-546 = 198 KM/HR
TIME NEEDE TO OVERTAKE = 273/198 = 1.38 HRS.
