is traveling at 60mph and train B is traveling at 70mph. Train A passes a station at4:15 A.M. If train Bpasses the same station at 4:45.M., at what time will train B catch up to train A?

Answer by scott8148(6628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
in the half hour between A and B passing the station , A travels 30 mi (.5 * 60)

A is 30 mi ahead , but B is closing at 10 mph (70 - 60)

so how long does it take B to close the 30 mi gap at 10 mph?
