Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X=2Y+1
3X=5Y+10
3(2Y+1)=5Y+10
6Y+3=5Y+10
6Y-5Y=10-3
Y=7 ANS FOR THE SMALLER NUMBER.
X=2*7+1=14+1=15 ANS. FOR THE LARGER NUMBER.
PROOF:
3*15=5*7+10
45=35+10
45=45
