Question 26118: I'm having with this problems also.
The second ngle of a triangular building lot is three times as large as the first. The third angle is 10 degree more than the sum of the other two angles. Find the measure of the third angle.
I also tried this one out and didn't know where to start. so far i got:
x+3x+10=180
when i worked out the problem, it didn't look like the right answer. Please help!
Answer by mathrebel(25) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the sum of the three angles is 180
angle 1 = x
angle 2 = 3*x
angle 3 = (x+3*x)+10 --> u need to include the sum of the other two angles.
x+3x+(x+3x)+10=180
8x+10=180
8x=170
x=21.25
the third angle is (x+3x)+10=21.25+3*21.25+10=95
