Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2a+3b=4
3a+4b=7
subtract first from second
a+b=3
a=3-b
substitute in either
2(3-b)+3b=4
6-2b+3b=4
2+b=0
b=-2
a=3-(-2)=5
