An SUV costs $32,500, which is $700 more than 12 times a certain number. What is the number? Let n = the number.
The steps I took:
12n + 700 = 32,500
+700 - 700 = 0
32,500 - 700 = 31,800
12n = 31,800
12n/12 = 31,800/12
n = 2,650
Is this correct?
