Number of Boys in the class=x
Number of Girls in the class-x+4
Total number of pupils=Number of Boys and Girls
30=x+x+4
30-4=2x -----> 26=2x , divide both side by 2
x=13 Number of Boys
13+4=17 Number of Girls
