There is a total of 130 students going to the prom
if x represents seniors, then 130-x would represent juniors
Seniors pay $60 and Juniors pay $80 totalling $8800 so

Subtract 10400 from both sides

Divide both sides by -20

So 80 Seniors attended the prom and
130-x=130-80=50 Juniors Attended
Check:
$60(80)+$80(50)=$4800+$4000=$8800 Which is the total collected
