Your watch loses 1 1/2 sec every hour. You have a friend whose watch gains 1 second every hour. The watches show the same time now. After how many more seconds will they show the same time again?
-------------------------
The times shown are diverging at a rate of 2.5 seconds per hour. They will show the same time again when they are 12 hours apart (assuming it's the common 12 hour display).
12 hours = 12*60*60 seconds = 43200 seconds
43200/2.5 = 17,280 seconds
= 288 minutes
= 4 hours 48 minutes
