Hi,
An investigator has a 430 page report to read. The first day, he is able to read 20 pages. The second day, he reads 10 pages more than his first day, and the third day, he reads 15 pages more than the second day. If, on the following days, he continues to read at the same rate he was reading on the third day, he will complete the report on the ___ day.
20 + 30 + 45 = 95 in first three days.
430 -95 = 335
335/45 = 7 4/9 On the 8th day (after the first three days) he will finish
3days + 8 days = 11 days to totally read the 430 pages
