Question 187674: Hi,
3x^2 + 3y^2 - 6x - 6 = 0 (describe and sketch the given equation)
I believe this is a circle and I've tried "completing the square", but without the b(y) part of the equation, I'm lost. Please help.
Thank you,
Lynn

Question 187680: Hello,
I'm having trouble graphing a "PieceWise" function. The problem:
g(x)={x if x >= 0
{x^2 if x < 0
I have graphed half of the absolute value function from (0,infinity) and half the squaring function from (infinity,0) on the same graph. Can this be done because the absolute value function would color the origin point (0,0) in while the squaring function leaves the origin (0,0) open? I'm probably way off.
I hope this is clearly stated.
Thanks in advance,
Lynn
