Question 12149: I'm not too sure where to begin on this. I am from louisiana but my dad showed me this website that he thinks will help me with my alg. 2. I am having a hard time in alg. 2 right now and the help will be greatly appreciated!! okay here goes the problem.
y=1/4 /x/ (I had to use the slanted lines since there is no signs that can be
used for abosoulte value.)..thank you so much for your time and

Question 12436: The section I'm working on is linear equations in two variables and their graphs. I need to find the slope of the line that goes through each pair of points...(1/2, 2), (-1, 1/2). I do not understand how to graph this or how to figure the slope. I have the same problem with decimals!! Any suggestions you have would be warmly welcomed!! Thank You, Allison Nilsson

Question 13749: Hey I also have another question I am so sorry. But I don't understand what or how I would do this.
Write an equation of the line that passes through (6,-10) and is perpendicular to the line that passes through (4,-6) and (3,-4).
I have another one that looks similar only it deal with Parallel. so I figure if I get the perp. one then I should be able to figure out how to do the Parallel one. right?

Going by 3's
there is a graph-- there is a pt on --going across -9 and down -6
then there is another pt. --going across -12 and down -18
it's asking to write an equation of the line. I don't know exactly how to interpret the graph b/c graphing for me is hard (to understand.)
P.S. My teacher said to use the y-y=m(x-x) formula but I am just totally confused please help me it would be greatly appreciated so I can do the other prob. I am having troubles w/.
