x-y=-2
x-4y=4

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the system by graphing both lines.
x-y=-2
x-4y=4
======================
They're straight lines, so you need 2 points for each.
x-y=-2 --> y = x + 2
Pick 2 values for x and find y.
Plot the points.
Draw a line thru them.
------------
Do the same for the other eqn.
The intersection is the solution of the system.
