To put an equation in the sope-intercept form, solve for the y-term.
For example:
2x+3y=2 [solve for the y-term]
2x-2x+3y=-2x+2
3y=-2x+2
3y/3=-2x/3+2/3
y=(-2/3)x+2/3
.
To graph, Let x=0 and solve for the y-term
Than let y=0 and solve for the x-term.
This will give you the x an y intercepts. Plot these two points and connect the dots:
