Question 98371: could some one help me graph this linear equation.
2y+18x=4. thank you very much
Answer by tutorcecilia(2152) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Re-write the equation in the slope-intercept form (y=mx+b)
2y+18x=4
2y+18x-18x=-18x+4
2y=-18x+4
2y/2=-18x/2+4/2
y=-9x+2
.
Graph using (0,2) as the point where the line crosses the graph(the y-intercept(b) of the line) and a slope of (-9)
