Question 965016: I can't seem to find the asymptotes (if any) and the 2 additional coordinates for these functions/problems. I've tried but I can't find them. Could someone please help me?
The problem reads as follows:
Graph the following functions. Find the equations of the asymptotes (if any) of each function.
Clearly label the intercepts of each function, and label at least 2 additional coordinates on each graph.
1. f(x)=log_2(3x)
2. 3^(x+2)-8
3. (1/2)^(x-3)
Thank you in advanced!

1. log only has a vertical asymptote.
3^(x+2) - 8 = exp(x+2)log3 is the opposite. It's asymptote is horizontal.
same for function 3
