Y=-3X/4+3 ANSWER.
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = -3x/4 +3).
TO PLOT THIS LINE YOU NEED TO FIND 2 POINTS.
SET Y=0 & SOLVE FOR X
0=-3/4*X+3
-3/4X=-3
NOW DIVIDE BY -3/4
X=-3*-4/3 (NOT TO DIVIDE BY A FRACTION INVERT THE FRACTION & MULTIPLY.
X=12/3
X=4 THIS POINT IS (4,0)
NOW SET X=0 & SOLVE FOR Y
Y=-3/4*0+3
Y=3 THIS POINT IS (0,3)
NOW PLOT THESE TWO POINTS AND DRAW THE LINE THROUGH THEM.
