Question 93204: Graph y >- 3 - x.

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph y >- 3 - x.
--------------
1st: Graph the boundary of the inequality
which is y=-3-x
Plot two points and draw a dashed line thru them:

---------------
2nd: Pick a test point to see where the graph of the INEQUALITY
lies. For example pick (0,0)
Test that in the inequality y>-3-x
You get 0 > -3-0
That is true so (0,0) is in the half-plane solution of the inequality.
Darken the half-plane above the line which contains the test point (0,0).
