write an equation of the line passing through (5,0) and parallel to the line y=5x-2

The given line has a slope of 5 so every line parallel to it will have a slope of 5.

The equation you want will have the form y=mx+b
You know m=5 and the point tells you y=0 when x=5
So you can substitute those values and solve for "b", as follows:
0 = 5*5+b
b=-25
-----------
The equation you want is y=5x-25
