Question:
Graph f(x) = –2x + 4
Answer;
When you are plotting this graph on a graph paper,
Give some arbitrary values for x and find out the corresponding values of f(x)
f(x) = –2x + 4
When x = 0, f(x) = -2*0 + 4 = 0 + 4 = 4
When x = 1, f(x) = -2*1 + 4 = -2 + 4 = 2
When x = 2, f(x) = -2*2 + 4 = -4 + 4 = 0
When x = 3, f(x) = -2*3 + 4 = -6 + 4 = -2
Now plot these values on the graph paper...
The the graph will come like this...
Hope you found the explanation useful.
