Answer:

The given equation is of the form, y = -2x + 2 ---------(1)
Now put some arbitrary values for x in the(1)and find out the corresponding y values.

For(1), when x = 0, y = -2*0 + 2 = 0 + 2 = 2

when x = 1, y = -2*1 + 2 = 0

When x = 2, y = -2*2 + 2 = -4 + 2 = -2


Now plot this values on the graph paper.





Then the graphs will come like this....




Here you can see that the line intersents at two points, that is x = 1 and y =2
So the solution is x = 1 and y = 2
