Question 905952: CORRECTION--- If I left out a number in a equation does that change the process of how to solve?
4.5x- 1 < -10 OR 6-2x > or equal to 12.
Also, then would my answer in interval notation look like this?
(-infinity,-5) U (-infinity, -3]
Is that right? or in the second answer should -3 come first? If so, why is that?
Answer by josgarithmetic(39618) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I just finished this with "ADDED INFORMATION" in the other solution posting. The union of the two solutions should be (-infinity, -2), since the -3 is included as part of the second inclusive inequality.
