The line l1 intersects the line l2, which has an equation y=5x+4, at C. Find the coordinates of C.

Hi

A( 4,8) and 

B(10,26). m = -24/-8 = 3  

y - 8 = 3(x-4)  ***Using point-slope form, P(4,8)

  y = 3x - 4

3x-4 = 5x+4  |Finding point of intersection

 -8 = 2x

 -4 = x  and y = -16  Use either equation: y = 3x-4 0r y = 5x+4)

C(-4,-16)
