First we need to graph the equation (just replace the inequality sign with an equal sign)
Divide both sides by -6
Reduce
So here's the graph of
Now lets pick a test point, any will do. I'm going to use your test point (1,1). Now evaluate the test point with the inequality:
Plug in x=1 and y=1 into the inequality
Multiply
Since this inequality is true, we simply shade the region that contains (1,1):
note: since the inequality is a greater than sign, we do not include the boundary. So the red line should be a dashed line.
