A coffee shop sells a regular cup of coffee for $2 and a large cup for $3. Ana and her freinds buy 12 cups of coffee and spend a total pf $29. Find the number of regular cups of coffee they bought

Hi,

Let x represent the number of large cups  ⇒  (12-x) regular cups

$3x + $2(12-x) = $29

          x = 5, number of large cups.  There were 7 regular cups
