Since a straight line only needs two points to define it you only need to plot two points. Usually, the easiest are when x=0 solve for y and when y=0 solve for x

Hi,
One example a linear equation in the slope, y- intercept form

The idea is is the y-intercept (which gives you one point on graph)

slope say IF you go up 2 and over 3, that will be another point

Connect points with a Line and You are Done
