Question 839578: I am not understanding I am on section 3.4 in math 105, my question is 2x+5y is greater or equal to 10. I have set them equal to 0 but when I graph it, it is telling me I am absolutely wrong this homework is due not tomorrow. I have been working all day on it I really need help.
Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"2x+5y is greater or equal to 10."
-
Solve for y.
The solution will be the REGION above the line y=-(2/5)x+2, and including the line; you would draw a solid line for this graph if done on graph paper. Difficult to know exactly how to show this on the site system...
Again, the solution is ABOVE the line and INCLUDES the line. You would shade the region above the line.
