Question 838254: a supervisor for a shopping company expects a worker to complete 25 orders and have one 15 minute break in less than 2.5 hours. how long will it take to complete one order
Answer by LinnW(1048)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
25 orders in 2.5 hours less a 15 minute break.
25 orders in 150 minutes less 15 minutes = 135 minutes.
135 minutes/ 25 orders
27/5 minutes for one order
5 2/5 minutes for one order
Checking our result, 27/5 * 25 = (27*25)/5 = 5*27 = 135
135 + 15 = 150 minutes = 2.5 hours
