Pick three different values of x, and substitute into the formula to find y. You can use ANY values of x that you choose.
For example, y = 2x+2
If x=0, then y =2*0+2 =2
If x=1, then y=2*1+2 =4
If x=2, then y =2*2+2 = 6
and so on.
In this case, you have the pairs of numbers (always put x first!)
(0,2)
(1,4)
(2,6)
etc.
