A(-1,0), B(-2,3) C(0,-4) and D(2,4)

Graph the points

A(-1,0), B(-2,3) C(0,-4) and D(2,4)

I'll just show you how to plot B(-2,3). See if
you can figure out how to plot the others. If you
can't then post again.

How to plot (-2,3)

Draw an x and y axis:

Look at the first number of B(-2,3). It is -2.
Find -2 on the x-axis (the horizontal one) and
draw a vertical line that cuts through it, like
this:

Look at the second number of B(-2,3). It is 3.
Find 3 on the y-axis (the vertical one) and
draw a horizontal line that cuts through it, like
the green one below:

Now where those two lines cross, draw a dot, like
this

Now erase the two lines and leave just the dot.

That's the point B which is (-2,3)

Can you plot the others now?

You will soon get so that you won't have to draw those
lines and then erase them. You can just imagine those
two lines are there and just draw the dot where you
imagine them to cross.
