Y=3X-4 THIS EQUATION IS FOR A LINE WITH A SLOPE (m) OF 3 & A Y INTERCEPT (b) OF (0,-4). TO LOCATE ANOTHER POINT SET Y=0 AND SOLVE FOR X
0=3X-4
3X=4
X=4/3 OR (4/3,0) IS ANOTHER POINT. PLOT THESE TWO POINTS AND DRAW THE LINE THUS:
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = 3x -4).
