The equation of a circle centered at with radius is:



The radius is the distance from the center to any point through which the circle passes. Use the distance formula:



where and are the coordinates of the given points.

But save yourself a little work and use a modified form of the distance formula because you don't actually need the radius, you need the radius squared.
