Question 761984: What is the point slope form and the slope intercept form of the equation:
Passing through (2,0) and (0,-1)

Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Gradient = y2 - y1/x2 - x1 = -1 - 0/0 - 2 = 1/2
Using y - b = m(x - a) m = gradient.
= y - 0 = 1/2(x - 2)
= 2y = x - 2
= y = 1/2x - 1
Hope this helps.
