Question 74585: Please help me understand this
If points A,B, and C lie on a coordinate line and points A and B have coordinates 15 and 7 respectively, then which of the possible coodinates for point C satisfy(ies) d(A,C) < d(B,C)
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to teach me this

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If "c" is the coordinate of C, then the
coordinate value is between eleven and fifteen.
Any of these coordinates will result in
the distance from A to C is less than the
distance from B to C.
