This problem is made a little easier by the
fact that the line segments formed by the
given points are horizontal and vertical..
I'll label the points:
A( 7,6 )
B( -1,6 )
C( 7,-2 )

Notice that the line formed by AB has the same
y coordinate at both ends. This means that the
line HAS to be horizontal.
-----------
Notice that the line formed by AC has the same
x coordinate at both ends. This means that the
line HAS to be vertical

The line formed by BC doesn't have either an
x or a y that are the same, so this forms a
diagonal.
------------
BC has endpoints ( -1,6 ) and ( 7,-2 )
The y-coordinate of 6 and
the x-coordinate of 7 are shared with the
other 2 lines, so ( -1,-2 ) must be the new
point.

You really should plot this on graph paper.
It's the only way to see what's going on.
You end up with a square that is 8 units
on each side
