I need help with this problem 21>15+2a
21 > 15 + 2a
Subtract 15 from each side of the inequality.
21 - 15 > 15 + 2a - 15
Combine like terms:
21 - 15 = 6
15 - 15 = 0
Therefore:
6 > 2a
Divide each side by 2
6/2 > 2a/2
The Answer:
3 > a or
a < 3
