Question 707152: f(x)=|x|; stretch vertically by a factor of 4 and reflect about the x-axis, Write the equation for the final transformed graph.

f(x) = |x|
1. Stretch vertically by a factor of 4: Multiply the current f(x) (i.e. y) by 4
f(x) = 4*|x|
2. Reflect about the x-axis: Replace the current f(x) (i.e. y) with its opposite/negative
f(x) = -(4*|x|) = -4*|x|
