How do I graph the relation 3y= 9x^2-6x+12?
----------
Pick values for x and find y.
Plot the points, as many as you like.
Draw a curve thru them.
-------
Reduce it first.
3y= 9x^2-6x+12
y = 3x^2 - 2x + 4

graph the relation 3y= 9x^2-6x+12
-----
Simplify:
y = 3x^2 - 2x +4
-----
Vertex occurs where x = -b/2a = 2/(6) = 1/3
-----
f(1/3) = 3(1/9) - (2/3) + 12/3 = 11/3
---
Plot the vertex at (1/3 , 11,3)
---
y-intercept = f(0) = 4
Plot (0,4)
----
Sketch a parabola thru those points opening upward.
