Question 70640: i need help in this one i keep getting different and weird answers. please help me step by step. I don't know the steps to download the actual picture to this message box. So i tried my best in describing the line graph. Who ever helps me i can resend the picture via email to recheck the diagram. any help is helpful. thanks.
I have a picture of a line graph that show the number of stray cats in a small town for the years listed.

1999 35
2000 50
2001 35
2002 40
2003 55

The question is: Between what two years did hte greatest increase in the number of stray cats occur? show your work

2000 50 +15
2001 35 -15
2002 40 +5
2003 55 +15
Using your data the increase in stray cats from 1999 to 2000 was 15 cats and also between 2002 and 2003 the increase was 15 cats.
On looking at your graph it should be the steepest for these two sets of two years.
