y=x+2 and y=-2x+2
I've been having real trouble with graphing equations. I always get the y-axis mixed up with slope. My friend recommened this site. Thanks for giving your time to help me.

y=x+2
y=-2x+2

since y=x+2 then we substitute (x+2) for y in the other equation & solve for x
x+2=-2x+2
x+2x=0
x=0 answer. now substitute 0 for x & solve for y
y=2*0+2
y=2 answer. so we have a solution which is the point (0,2) as show in the graph.
