Question 70357: Graph the function
f(x) = -2x - 5

Answer by funmath(2933)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph the function
f(x) = -2x - 5
Let f(x)=y
y=-2x-5
Let x=0 and solve for y:
y=-2(0)-5
y=0-5
y=-5 Plot (0,-5)
Now let x=-1 and solve for y (You can pick anything for x)
y=-2(-1)-5
y=2-5
y=-3 Plot (-1,-3)
Connect the two points and you should have a line that looks like:

Happy Calculating!!!
