Question 702251: please tell me what is the ordered pair for graphing -5x+y= -3
Answer by DrBeeee(684) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given -5x + y = -3
Put into slope-intercept form
(2) y = 5x -3
Let x=0 then
(3) y = -3
Now let x=1 then
(4) y = 5 - 3 or
(5) y = 2
Giving you two point for your line as
(6) (0,-3) and (1,2)
By the way the slope is 5.
