Question 694623: I need someone to show me how to graph this inequality. Please help!
x + y < -1

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve for y

x + y < -1

y < -x-1

Now graph the line y = -x - 1. You do this by plotting the points (0, -1) and (1, -2) and drawing a straight line through them.

Then make this straight line a dashed line.

Then shade below this dashed line.
