Question 693418: Find x & y int. of the function:
Answer by pmatei(79)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Is the function y=2x-5/x-2 which means
or y=(2x-5)/(x-2) which means ????????
You said second one:

Intercept means where it crosses one axis. For x-intercept, y is zero. For y-intercept, x is zero. The other letter is zero.
So, y-intercept ():

and x-intercept ():

Sometimes it happens to be the same number for both x and y intercepts (like in this case), but it is not the rule.
