Then complete the square
Simplify
to find x intercept, plug in y=0
Take square root
X-intercept is (2,0)
Use same procedure with y-intercept, let x=0
take square root of both sides
(remember its both positive and negative note: ignore the 0 in front of the plus/minus
of course these are approximate
So the y-intercepts are (0,5.236) and (0,0.764)
