Assume values of x and plug in the equation to get values of y.
Plot the points
x 0 5 2
y= -8 7 -2
(x,y)(0,-8),(5, 7),(2-2)
6 x + -2 y = 8
y= 3 x -4
Assume values of x and plug in the equation to get values of y.
Plot the points
x 0 5 2
y= -4 11 2
(x,y) (0,-4),(5,11),( 2,2)

The slopes are same. The lines are parallel. Hence no solution to the system of equations
