4x+2y=24 and y=-x+7
4X+2(-X+7)=24
4X-2X+14=24
2X=24-14
2X=10
X=10/2
X=5 ANS.
Y=-5+7
Y=2 ANS.
PROOF:
4*5+2*2=24
20+4=24
24=24
