Sketch using transformations: f(x) = -2|x+2|. Start with the basic graph and show all stages.
f(x)=|x| looks like:

f(x)=|x+2| causes a horizontal shift left two units:

f(x)=2|x+2| causes a vertical stretch of a factor of 2:

f(x)=-2|x+2| causes a reflection about the x-axis:
