Find the equation of the line that passes through the pts (-5,-2) and (4,-3)
slope= [-2--3]/[-5-4]=-1/9
y=mx+b where y=-3, x=4 , m=-1/9; solve for b as follows;
-3 = (-1/9)4+b
-3=-4/9 + b
b=-27/9 + 4/9
b=-23/9
EQUATION:
y=(-1/9)x-(23/9)
